The Logies were on last week, with TV host Larry Emdur taking the Gold.

👶 Robert Irwin is the youngest male nominee of a Gold Logie.

🎤 The youngest ever Gold Logie winner was Kylie Minogue, age 19 in 1988.

The Logie Awards were first named the Tv Week Awards, and the Gold Logie was ‘Star of the Year’.

📺 The Logie Awards are named by Graham Kennedy who won the first ‘Star of the Year’ Award, after Scottish engineer, James Logie Baird, who developed the first television technology in 1960.

🇦🇺To be considered eligible for a Logie, the production must be produced and set in Australia and have a predominantly Australian cast.
